Stephen (he/him) is a therapist that is passionate about both working with individuals through difficult times and also helping them develop the skill sets needed to face the next challenge that arises. In this work, Stephen utilizes a therapeutic approach that combines meeting clients where they are at with evidence based approaches (namely Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Dialectical Behavioral Theory approaches) and a judgement free space in hopes of helping therapy feel less like a chore and more like growth. Stephen has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various different settings; these settings include suicide prevention hotline work, school involvement, and partial hospitalization level of care. Throughout his time in these different environments, Stephen developed both hands-on experience and a desire to work with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the symptoms that can follow traumatic experiences. Stephen is excited to help clients ranging from childhood to early adulthood work towards their goals and various skill development. When possible, he also enjoys working with male-presenting individuals in tackling the above challenges while also helping it feel less difficult to openly talk about emotions. Stephen can be your in person and online therapist.
