Alex Pendergist

At the center of Alexandria’s work is the understanding that healing unfolds in relationship—in spaces where empathy, safety, and authenticity are present. She views therapy as a collaborative journey—grounded in curiosity, compassion, and genuine connection. Her eclectic style draws from a range of modalities, always shaped by the unique needs and wisdom of each client. Alexandria is a certified trauma therapist and works with adults and young adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship concerns, and the ongoing work of self-understanding. She has prior experience in community mental health and college settings, and brings a special focus to supporting caregivers, siblings, and parents of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is LGBTQ+ allied, neurodiversity-affirming, and committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.  Alexandria’s goal is to support clients in making sense of their experiences, reconnecting with what matters most, and moving toward greater clarity, meaning, and resilience. She works collaboratively to foster a deeper understanding of thoughts, emotions, and patterns, always honoring each person’s unique perspective and inner wisdom.  Alexandria can be your in person and online therapist.
